Betsey Hummel Macholz, a native Charlottean, returned home in the spring of 2001 to launch Blue Sky Management Solutions. Blue Sky Management Solutions helps companies gain a competitive edge by helping clients identify, manage, and develop employees through the use of assessments with the ultimate goals of increasing productivity, improving employee satisfaction, and reducing turnover.
Growing up in Charlotte, Betsey attended Charlotte Latin School for twelve years, graduating in 1989. A graduate of Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business and Birmingham-Southern College, Betsey has a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Arts in Public and Private Management. In addition to her educational background, Betsey’s professional experience is grounded in the real world of business with companies including Southern Progress Corporation (Alabama), Integrated Marketing Services (New York), and Southern Shows (Charlotte).
